Once Igor was walking in his village, which was located near the forest. Near the edge of the forest, he noticed a small calf. By appearance, Igor concluded that the baby was no more than a month and a half.
The poor fellow could not walk, he could barely keep his body on his feet. When Igor came closer, the cub fell to the ground. The animal was weak and emaciated. Most likely he was an orphan. In this position, the animal would not last long. He could become a victim of stronger predatory animals or simply die of hunger and thirst.
And so it happened that the animal was left in the forest all alone. A kind man named Igor saved him from danger. The man took it to a nearby forestry. There it turned out that the baby had lost his mother due to the atrocities of poachers.
Igor took care of the baby. He named him Kid. The calf became so attached to his savior that he began to consider him his parent. He did not leave Igor a single step.
When the kid grew up a little, Igor took him to the deer place. It was very difficult for him to let go of his ward, but Igor understood that the forest animal had no place in the household. Calf is an animal that should live in a forest environment. Igor said goodbye to the Kid, his pupil went to a new life.
