The Astrakhan man did just a heroic deed — he, without hesitation, rushed to save a no-man’s dog that was in distress. The incident had witnesses — the man’s child and his friends, with whom they were on a walk at that moment.
Everything was filmed by the camera phone of one of the bystanders. The father accompanied his daughter on the street with several of her classmates, as right before their eyes, the poor animal fell into a terrible trap, ending up in icy water.
Many in the neighborhood were familiar with the dog, gave her food and treats, and took care of her as much as they could. Seeing that the animal was in trouble, trying to escape, but could not, the man rushed to the rescue.
He cleared the ice obstacle and pulled the dog out onto dry land, where it was immediately warmed and fed.
