Three weeks after birth, these kittens were thrown out into the street. We took care of them, and later they were taken by a young couple. The new owners promised us to take good care of the babies, who need special care at such an early age.
To everyone who takes our animals, we give a trial period. In the first days everyone is sure that they will cope, but often the animals are returned to us. The reasons for the return are different for everyone, someone suddenly finds out that he has an allergy, others realize that they cannot bear such expenses, and others change jobs or place of residence.
This couple, even after a trial period, decided to leave the kittens, saying that they were coping with new responsibilities. Such enthusiasm made me happy, but the photos that were sent to me, on the contrary, put me on my guard. Judging by the pictures, the kittens did not grow, while their sister was gaining weight and height very quickly.
When asked what the reason was, the young owners suggested that the cause was diarrhea, which did not go away for several weeks. Their mom advised to feed the babies with bones, because it is them that her cats eat. Defending their mother’s diet plan, the couple said her cats live long, up to three years.
We adopted the kittens immediately.
Now they need to be treated, processed, and most importantly, fattened, because for 2 months a weight of 200 grams is almost critical.
