On one of the streets of Providence lived a stray cat, which recently became the mother of 7 babies. Outdoor life took a serious toll on the cat’s health, she had a skin infection and a respiratory tract infection, so she had very little strength, and feeding seven kittens gradually made her weaker and weaker. Despite health problems, the cat continued to do everything possible to feed her babies. The cat urgently needed help, otherwise neither she nor her babies had a chance to survive.
Serena Baleto, a caregiver who lived nearby, found out about this cat and its problems. Serena understood that it would not be easy to help the kittens and their mother, but she hoped that she would succeed, so she took the whole family to her home.
It took Serena a lot of strength to get the kittens out. She fed them with a pipette every few hours, and after that she took care of the cat, which was extremely weak. The cat was named Macadamia.
The siren managed to get the cat out and after a while she was again able to feed her babies herself and take care of them.
When the kittens became independent, Serena found new owners for each of them, and after a while a new home was found for Macadamia.
