Our volunteers know this village well, because every year one of the volunteers brings at least fifty cats and kittens from there. But we did not expect to see a cat in such a state.
The animal was at the local store for a month and literally died in front of the villagers, but no one paid attention to it… Only a month later they sent us a photo, which shows that help is needed very urgently.
The cat’s fur was falling off in pieces, and the skin was peeling off with it. The cat was covered in wounds, and also very thin and hungry, as if during the month that he had spent at the store, no one had even treated him to a piece of bread. When our volunteer began to feed him, the cat just attacked the food.
We took the cat and identified it in the clinic, where a place was found for him. While the cat is being examined and tested, as soon as the results are known, the veterinarian will prescribe treatment. We understand that it will take a lot of time and effort for the cat to get better, but we hope that we can help him with this.
