The illness of a dog named Speedy began suddenly. The dog felt good, but one day he simply could not get up, because his paws failed. The owner did not want to waste time and money on treating the dog and took him to the clinic to be euthanized.
Expecting a fatal injection, Speedy licked the hands of everyone who approached him in the clinic. The dog really wanted to live and used all means to show that he did not want to die.
The doctors decided to give the dog a chance, because despite the illness, he has not lost the desire to live, and this is what often ensures good treatment results.
Speedy had to undergo a rehabilitation course that included several types of therapy and various trainings. Volunteers were by his side during all classes.
After a while, the dog got better, he was able to walk on his own, and a little later even run.
Volunteers imbued Speedy with not only love, but also respect. His courage and lust for life caused a real delight. The dog endured all hardships very steadfastly and did not lose optimism.
They found a new family for Speedy, in which he lives a happy full life, receiving and giving love.
