Yesterday, on August 12, an incident took place on Northern Avenue between the organizers of the signature collection against the «Istanbul Convention» by Emil Galstyan, known from the «Army» TV series. According to our information, a scuffle took place, after which Emil applied to the law enforcement.
The police informed NEWS.am that yesterday a citizen submitted a report stating that he had been pushed and beaten at the beginning of Northern Avenue.
Police officers detained two people on suspicion of beating from North Avenue and invited the caller.
According to our information, the detainees are Gevorg Gyulumyan and Arthur Aleksanyan, representatives of the «Will» public initiative, who were released hours later.
