Matilda was born 8 years ago, just in time for Valentine’s Day. She was born in a shelter, but she was quickly found a family. Matilda really liked her owners, she easily got used to the house and even made friends with the dog living in it. Little Matilda was not only not afraid of the huge dog, but also played with him with pleasure.
Over time, the owners of the cat began to notice some features, for example, Matilda’s eyes became darker and larger, they ceased to be proportional. The cat looked more and more like an alien.
Matilda was taken to the vet. After lengthy examinations, doctors found that the cat had a rare disease associated with a gene mutation. It turned out that the manifestations of this disease are also noticeable in Matilda’s brothers and sisters, but they are not so pronounced. The doctors had fears that the eyes continued to grow and this would lead to very serious problems, so the cat underwent surgery.
The operation helped and Matilda’s eyes no longer enlarge. Despite her unusual appearance, Matilda is an ordinary cat, although subscribers of her Instagram page, who are curiously watching the life of a cat, may not agree with this.
