Something happened that we did not expect at all — the fence fell, leaving our dogs without the opportunity to walk. We have finished building the enclosures and our wards have already celebrated their housewarming, and we have crossed one more item off the list of problems.
During the day, the dogs could walk around the territory, and in the evening everyone was locked in comfortable enclosures.
We did not think about the need to repair or change the fence. More precisely, we understood that this needed to be done, but we managed with minor repairs that we could do on our own. Only girls take care of dogs, we can’t do hard work, and hiring people is not free money…
The fence fell unexpectedly, just at the time when there were no people at the overexposure. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the dogs ran to explore neighboring areas. On this day, everyone came to us: neighbors, a district police officer, friends of neighbors. We and the dog wished a lot of unpleasant things, expressed a lot of criticism and trampled the site. At the end, the neighbors issued a warning that if dogs appeared on their site, they themselves would deal with them.
Of course, it’s not quite right to send a dog for a walk when we are not around, but forcing them to sit in aviaries all day seems wrong to me too. It is our fault that we were not able to assemble for a new fence or to repair it well with our women’s team, and the dogs that are now locked up were punished. I see no other way out of the situation than to ask for help.
