Jesse raised two cubs: her puppy and an adopted kitten. Every day, the mother-dog had to look for food for three, which was very difficult.
The puppy and the kitten had a good appetite, they ate everything that Jesse could get hold of, and she had to remain half-starved.
The kids were very friendly with each other. The puppy hugged the kitten, worried that it would freeze. When Jesse went to look for food, the kids ran next to each other.
People liked the kitten and the puppy, so they were often treated to. The puppy begged for food, sitting down opposite the person and raising one paw. And they gave him. Jesse didn’t understand how he had thought of this.
People could not refuse such a cute little dog, but then it was summer. What to do in winter? Jesse couldn’t imagine. She loved her children very much, but she would like someone from the people to take them to their home.
However, no one has yet had such a desire. Jesse continued to go to places full of people. She left the kitten and the puppy in a conspicuous place, while she stepped aside so as not to interfere.
And once a man called the puppy to him and it ran after him. So they left together. And Jesse and the kitten watched them go. Jesse whined softly, but knew she had done the right thing.
The kitten rubbed against her paws, most likely no one would take it. So the two of them will have to go through the winter.
